Kaizen methodology for continuous improvement as an entry point to achieve outstanding institutional performance in the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Alexandria Governorate

Abstract

The research aims to identify the effect of using the (Kaizen) methodology for continuous improvement in achieving distinguished institutional performance in the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Alexandria Government by identifying the role of senior management in achieving continuous improvement, procedural steps of the Kaizen methodology "planning, implementation, evaluation and examination, Responding to the proposed improvements, "The effect of applying the Kaizen methodology on improving the performance of each of the" employees, operations, youth and sports directorate. Research Procedures: The descriptive approach was used. The research society and sample consist of: The directors of the youth and sports directorate in Alexandria Government, the deputy of the directorate, and a number of (5) departments represented in the "General Administration of Sports, General Administration for Youth, Vanguard Administration, Leadership Development Department, Planning and Follow-up Department, The questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting data and information and the appropriate statistical treatment was used - The research concluded the effect of using the Kaizen Methodology to improve the performance of employees and operations and the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Alexandria Government.
